The README and man page introduce the apex with "By default the apex of the zone will look like the following", but the SOA fields shown do not match what soa() actually emits. plugin/k8s_external/apex.go sets Refresh 7200, Retry 1800, Expire 86400 and Minttl e.ttl (default 5 seconds), while the example listed 14400/3600/604800 and annotated the minimum value of 5 as "4 hours". Align the example with the emitted values and fix the minimum's unit.

* plugin/k8s_external: Fixes a nil pointer dereference panic when upstream lookup returns no response
When a CNAME-hosted service is resolved, k8s_external performs internal
upstream lookups for the target name. Upstream.Lookup can return a nil
message with a nil error when the internal self-query's plugin chain
returns a ClientWrite rcode without writing a response (for example
acl's drop action), and the a/aaaa/srv handlers then dereference
resp.Answer on a nil resp and panic.
Guard all four lookups with err == nil && resp != nil, matching the nil
checks already used in plugin/backend_lookup.go and the guard recently
added to plugin/dns64 (#8511).

* plugin/k8s_external: silence unused-parameter lint in nil upstream test
The CI lint flagged the test handler's unused 'w' parameter. Rename it
to '_' so golangci-lint (revive unused-parameter) passes. No behavior
change.

- Added nolint to plugin/auto/walk.go to avoid a symlink/TOCTOU
warning, as it needs to follow symlink.
- Replaced a few flagged integer conversions with safe equivalents in
cache hashing, reuseport socket setup, and TLS arg handling
- Preallocated response rule slices in plugin/rewrite/name.go
- Replaced WriteString(fmt.Sprintf/Sprintln(...)) with direct
fmt.Fprint* calls
- Removed stale nolint directives from code and tests that are no
longer needed

* kubernetes: add multicluster support
Add multicluster support via Multi-Cluster Services API (MCS-API) via a

Make normalize return multiple "hosts" (= reverse zones) when a
non-octet boundary cidr is given.
Added pkg/cidr package that holds the cidr calculation routines; felt
they didn't really fit dnsutil.
This change means the IPNet return parameter isn't needed, the hosts are
all correct. The tests that tests this is also removed: TestSplitHostPortReverse
The fallout was that zoneAddr _also_ doesn't need the IPNet member, that
in turn make it visible that zoneAddr in address.go duplicated a bunch
of stuff from register.go; removed/refactored that too.
Created a plugin.OriginsFromArgsOrServerBlock to help plugins do the
right things, by consuming ZONE arguments; this now expands reverse
zones correctly. This is mostly mechanical.
Remove the reverse test in plugin/kubernetes which is a copy-paste from
a core test (which has since been fixed).
Remove MustNormalize as it has no plugin users.
This change is not backwards compatible to plugins that have a ZONE
argument that they parse in the setup util.
All in-tree plugins have been updated.

* For caddy v1 in our org
This RP changes all imports for caddyserver/caddy to coredns/caddy. This
is the v1 code of caddy.
For the coredns/caddy repo the following changes have been made:
* anything not needed by us is deleted
* all `telemetry` stuff is deleted
* all its import paths are also changed to point to coredns/caddy
* the v1 branch has been moved to the master branch
* a v1.1.0 tag has been added to signal the latest release

To:
~~~ go
This requires some external documents in coredns.io to be updated as
well; the old way still works, so it's backwards compatible.
